The Ad Copy Problem

With a strong brief, ask the AI to generate 10-20 variations of the headline and body copy. Vary the angle: lead with the benefit, lead with the problem, lead with social proof, lead with a question, lead with a specific number.

For Meta ads: hook variations (first line), body variations (150-300 words), CTA variations

For LinkedIn: headline variations, body variations, CTA variations

Step 3: Human curation

Review the AI's output and select the 5-7 variations worth testing. The human's job here is editorial judgment, which angles resonate with what you know about the audience, which feel authentic to the brand, which have tested well historically.

Step 4: Test and feed back

Run the selected variations. Feed the performance data back to the AI: "This headline had a 4.2% CTR, this one had 1.1%. Here's why we think the first worked better. Generate 10 more variations in the style of the winner."

The AI gets better at your specific audience and product over time as you feed it more performance data.
