Issue summary (2-3 sentences): what happened, from the customer's perspective. This is for the CSM's context, a quick brief so they understand the situation without reading the full ticket.

Draft recovery email: personalized, specific, and human in tone. The draft includes a reference to the specific issue, an acknowledgment of the impact, a concrete next step (refund, escalation, call, fix), and a direct offer of help from the CSM by name.

The draft is not sent automatically. It goes to the CSM for review. The CSM can send it as-is or edit it. The automation does the work of reading the ticket and writing the first draft, the CSM does the work of judgment and relationship management.

The recovery tracking system:

Every recovery attempt is logged in the CRM: date, ticket ID, CSAT score, recovery email sent, response received (yes/no), and outcome (retained, churned, unknown).
