Somewhere in your support tickets, your NPS responses, and your CSAT surveys, a customer said something great about your product this week. Nobody followed up. That's the pattern behind most testimonial pages that haven't been updated in over a year: The ask depends on someone remembering to make it, at the exact moment a happy customer is willing to say yes, and that moment passes before anyone notices.
This is the same problem in reverse as an unhappy customer slipping through support unnoticed, just pointed at the opposite outcome. If your team already runs a churn-risk or CSAT recovery process that catches negative sentiment and routes it to a human before it becomes a lost account, this is the positive mirror of that same idea: Catch positive sentiment, at the moment it happens, before the goodwill fades.
Why timing matters more than the ask itself
A customer is most willing to give a genuine, specific testimonial in the window right after a positive experience, a support ticket resolved well, a milestone hit, a high NPS score just given, not three weeks later when a quarterly marketing email asks everyone at once. The generic version of that email gets a low response rate and generic answers. The moment-triggered version gets a specific, usable quote, because the customer is still thinking about the specific thing that went well.
What this automation does
- Monitors your support platform and NPS/CSAT survey tool for high-sentiment signals: A resolved ticket with a strongly positive rating, an NPS score of 9 or 10, a support thread where the customer explicitly says something worked well
- Claude reads the specific context, what worked, what the customer said, and drafts a personalized ask referencing that specific moment rather than a generic "please leave us a review"
- Routes the request through the channel most likely to get a response for that customer type, email for B2B relationship contacts, SMS for consumer or service businesses
- Responses are captured, and Claude flags the strongest ones, specific, quantified, quotable, for a human to follow up on for a fuller case study
- Everything logs to a testimonial bank organized by theme, so your team isn't hunting through old emails when a proposal needs a relevant quote
What it doesn't do: publish anything automatically, or contact a customer without a real, specific positive signal behind the ask. A generic high score alone doesn't trigger an outreach without context to reference, generic outreach is exactly the failure mode this replaces.
